Hey guys, I forgot to mention that I did have access to my audits before I got my acceptance on Tuesday.
Also, when I applied for Fall 2018 I received my rejection after the deadline of June 15. I also didn’t receive an email about MyStatus changing. I hope this doesn’t freak any of you out. I just want to share my experience with you all.
@hornhopeful19 I sort of asked a silly question lol, but thanks for the input. This is so ridiculously stressful. I believe they have 99% of our decisions sorted by now. What I don’t really understand is why they aren’t sending out notices. Tbh, I don’t think I saw one accept, or denied alert yesterday?. On another topic, I think possibly I was very wrong about the AID audit issue. I know I posted multiple examples of users who were accepted that had “no” audit, however, at this time I’ve come to believe that might not be the norm. It seems there’s students with very few hours who have their audit. Same goes for students who have quite a few hours. I’m preparing for the worst at this point. As one user on here previously mentioned…Why would UT waste time doing unnecessary work for denied students? I wish you all a calm relaxing weekend.
*As of this AM my mystatus is still in review, none of my transcripts, or coursework listed anywhere.
I CANNOT BELIEVE WE HAVEN’T HEARD YET!!!
@Sith77 Even some of those with an audit are still in review so the suspense is shared. Don’t hold it as the deciding factor. We won’t know until we know. I have applied to 4 schools and have not heard back from any. No sense of worrying, we will all end up where we are supposed to. Have a great weekend everyone. Decisions will come out soon.
I have a quick question. I posted my stats a few days ago and said that I have 34 credits. However, I did not send UTSA my HCC dual credit transcript and sent UT my HCC dual credit transcript instead since that’s where I’m planning to transfer to. Should I send UTSA my HCC transcript or is it not needed?
@seanq1 I’d say so but I don’t know if UTSA will accept these credits before the time you need to send your UTSA transcript to UT
@najgns how many credit hours did you have?
Has anyone from CNS heard back yet?
@student214415315 only one international math major heard last week - he/she was accepted - I haven’t see any others yet.
When does UT close for winter break?
Will this week be the week? My gut feeling tells me they are going to release every wednesday from now on…? Anyone agree?
@rdam Why Wednesday mate?
I was hoping UT would release most decisions this week.
From my research, most just from assumptions (but what isn’t one in this thread lol), it seems like UT likes to pick one day out of the week and release in waves that day. The first wave for students who weren’t international was last Wednesday right? So I’m assuming this Wednesday is when we will hear more. If not, I’ll lose it! lol
Has anyone called the admissions office today to see what their guesstimate is? lol
The UT admissions office lol, what a bunch of muppets! I swear, if we called that office 5 days straight, each day there’d be a different answer.
I truly feel for peeps who have to scurry about looking for housing at this late date. I love UT, but I do wish they had a bit more consideration.
@HornHopeful19 The last finals day for students is December 19. But university staff follow this holiday schedule: https://hr.utexas.edu/current/leave/holidays
I just called the admissions office. They said almost all desicions have been made at the end of November, and we’re supposed to hear back by next week. I also asked if it’s true that some of the decisions wont be released until January, he said no that’s not true. So hopefully this week is THE WEEK. I applied to CNS: Medical lab science though. Good luck everyone!!
Dude, thanks for the update. That’s helpful to know. That response seems like the office is starting to solidify an actual response to all the calls they’ve been getting.
I don’t have time to wait anymore, unfortunately. I graduate next weekend and have to notify most schools by December 15th if I’m attending or not. Even if I get in, I will most likely have to decline because of lack of housing and preparation. This really sucks.
It really is irritating to say the least. I wonder if there is a reason why some decisions are released sooner than others. Last semester I heard on the last day possible and I was rejected, but I guess some people were accepted the last day.
