UT Austin: Spring Transfer 2019 Thread

“Almost all decisions” concerns me lol but aight

Does anyone know how appeals normally go? I haven’t gotten a response, but I’m preparing for the worst. My grades in the past were definitely not exceptional, but I had severe mental health issues during my first 2.5 years of university. This semester I’ve been at Texas State and I am almost positive I will get a 4.0 for the semester. I’m hoping to show those grades and get letters of rec from those professors if I have to go through the appeal process.

Does anyone know the exact day the Spring semester starts?

@hanjhutch Spring semester starts Jan 22nd

I was looking at the spring transfer forum for last year and some people didn’t receive their decisions until the week of Christmas. Scary stuff

@PAdreamer1 Cand you send the link to the thread?

Also if anyone got denied seriously don’t lose hope, I got rejected for Fall 2018 and it was devastating but I tried again!

@mirmusali I agree! I applied for fall of 2018 and got denied, went to community college and earned more hours and made sure I got a 4.0 and now I got accepted to my dream school. Keep pushing!
