does ut calculate its own transfer gpa and make a decision on that or they use our gpa from the place we are transferring from?
I’m so nervous! My fiance and I moved to Austin so I could get a 2nd degree and move on to Medical school. My only gpa from my degree granting university was a 4.0 (my last 58 hours). I also have 6 hours of 4.0 from Loyola. That’s a total of 64 hours 4.0. I had one bad semester two decades ago which I’m praying UT will overlook considering my most recent work. I have great essays, as well as four brilliant LOR’s. I’m utterly sick of worrying about this every freaking dau… ugh?. I thought I had a wonderful chance of being admitted prior to reading all these posts.
@Sith77 don’t worry you’ll get in. Everything will fall into place. You have 4.0 gpa
G-d I hope so mate! From your lips to G-d’s ears I hope?.
Any news?
Nope nothing new
People will start to hear starting November 16th I guess that’s mid November for me
Ugh?. I sure hope they hurry up. I keep seeing high school seniors on twitter being congratulated for their UT acceptance. I’m just so nervous.
Hey everyone! I’m new to the thread but I know international applicants find out mid November, so I’m thinking we should hear something by the end of next week.
Totally hope so mate?! This process is way more nerve racking than when I applied to Wash-U in St. Louis.
Hard to believe it’s only been a month since the deadline! Last year people heard by the 16th…which is technically next Friday. Not sure if that feels near or far, lol
@jakemeister as far as we are concerned yesterday was too far away. Really hoping for good news before the holidays start.
This wait is nervewracking! So difficult!!
I thought we’d all hear something by this weeks end. No such luck sadly.
no. that’s just what I applied to.
not yet
I get an offer from Umich-Ann Arbor,should I wait for UT-Austin
Probably by next week we should hear back
Next week it is then??.
Application is still in review so next for sure!
