Providing I have great essays and rec letters....what are the chances do you guys think???

thanks everyone!

oh, and im in-state. thanks

anyoneeeeeeeee

Are you trying to transfer into any special programs?
How are you calculating your GPA? The way that UT Austin does?

Calculate this way:
GPA - Transfer | Be a Longhorn | UT Austin

If you are calculating according to that link and you are applying for liberal arts (instead of McCombs), then you a good chance.

If you are including plus/minus grades then you need to calculate your GPA according to that link and post here.

yea thats how I computed it...thats how they do it at my current school too.

so admission to Liberal Arts is lookin pretty good???

Yes, admission to liberal arts looks good--I'm hesitant to say definite as it seems like UT is becoming more and more selective. You can always consider transfer to McCombs after a semester or two at UT if you wish.

Good luck!
