UT Austin Transfer CLEP Question!!!

So I'm planning on transferring from UT Dallas to UT Austin and I had a very important question about CLEP tests. I'm planning on taking the Calculus CLEP September 9th, and the Pre-Calc CLEP September 16th. My course load gives me 16 transferable credit hours. I'm fairly certain I will get credit for both those CLEP exams because I've scored well above what I needed on the practice exams I've taken.

So assuming I have 26 transferrable credits, I would need 4 more to transfer into the Spring Semester. I am planning on taking the Spanish CLEP which would get me 6-12 credits if I pass the test, but I'm afraid that I won't be ready for the Spanish CLEP by the October 1st deadline. If I did the Spanish CLEP after the deadline, (let's say October 15th), and I passed the test, I would have 16 credit hours done, and 16 in progress and would have 30 transferable hours to UT Austin. I can even send an updated transcript to show that the credits are in progress.

My big question is that I don't know if that's allowed or not and it's driving me insane. I really don't want to have to wait until Fall 2014 to apply to UT Austin. I email a counsellor, but they are closed for the weekend and I have to wait until Monday!
