UT-Austin Transfer

<p>Planning on transferring to another school for undergraduate film production. Considering Arizona State, Florida State, and University of Texas- Austin, but for now just interested in my chances of getting into UT-Austin. </p>

<p>Current school: Georgia State (Sophomore)
GPA: 3.49 (40 credits completed)</p>

<p>SAT:
600-Writing
600-Math
690-Critical Reading</p>

<p>Work part-time in retail at Gap. </p>

<p>I'm taking Biology, Intro to Theater, and French Cinema (first upper-level film course) this semester. Planning on two A's and B for those. Taking two classes in the summer also.</p>

<p>I haven't done too much on campus because I commute to school in Atlanta, but I plan on getting involved tremendously once I live on campus (wherever that is).</p>

<p>I plan on applying for admission for Spring semester 2012. Any and all information is greatly appreciated (personal experience, class suggestions, extracurriculars, school information, RTF department info, scholarships, etc.). </p>

<p>Man I am trying to get into UT as well. It’s very competitive but you seem like your doing well.</p>

<p>I just got accepted as a transfer into the college of natural sciences with a 3.6 gpa and 47 hours completed.</p>

<p>That’s great branillionare! I just finished spring semester and got all A’s so I’m at 3.55. Taking two classes (Acting and Dramatic Writing) this summer and hopefully I can get A’s in those too.</p>
