UT Austin vs. Carnegie Mellon Pre-Med

Hello,

UT Austin and Carnegie Mellon are my top two universities, and I’m having trouble deciding between the two. I live in Texas; however, the cost of attending seems it will be about the same since I will not be receiving any aid for UT. I got accepted for bio chem at UT and will be pursuing either cog sci or neuroscience (Dietrich) at CMU. I will be on the pre-med track and have heard a lot of different opinions about each school in the pre-med sense but was wondering if anyone could give me advice comparing these two regarding areas such as GPA, pre-med advising, clinical opportunities, etc. Thank you!
