well, all of you guys have strong points but the thing is I’ve over 65 units at UT Austin. I cannot apply after a year as a transfer unit because you need at least 24 residence units at UT Austin to apply for Mccombs School of Business. So after a year, i’ll probably have more than 90 units and that makes me ineligible to apply. So the option for me is to pursue the Eco-MPA path program (which is again competitive to get into) which is beneficial in many ways (reduced tuition, lesser time to complete Masters, GMAT waived etc). So, if I pursue this , would this make any difference?!?!?

Again, thnks for all ur opinions!

I’ve read ALOT of student reviews of UT Austin and they say that many programs lack learning that you should be having at college level. So basically it all comes to down Program quality vs. University rankings (irrelevant of what program I pursue at UT)
