UT Austin vs. U Washington-Seattle for Bio Medical Engineering

Need some advice from experts here.
My D (California Resident) has to choose between UT Austin and UW for majoring in Bio-Medical Engineering.
I have evaluated the pros and cons from a financial perspective. But seeking advice from experts in this forum who can highlight pros based on

  1. Research opportunities for undergrad
  2. Summer internships
  3. Minoring options with Datascience/informatics stream
  4. College atmosphere

Thanks in advance for your tips
