Hello,
I’m trying to determine which school I should go to, and would love some input. At UT Austin I plan on double-majoring with Business (McCombs) and Plan II Honors. For those who don’t know, Plan II is an interdisciplinary honors program that is known to be equivilant to the academic rigor of the best school in Texas (Rice University). Additionally, McCombs is currently the number 6 business program in the country, and almost all majors are ranked in the top ten.
At WashU, I’m in a very cool program that combines Business and Computer Science into one degree. I didn’t expect to get into this school, and I’m still processing the fact that I was accepted. WashU obviously carries a lot of prestige as a university, but its business school isn’t even in the top ten. With my ultimate goal being in the business field, I’m not sure if this school would be benefiial to me.
I’m planning on majoring in either finance or accounting currently (and I have flexibility in both business schools). I would love some imput because I am so lost on whwere I should go next year.
