Need help and guidance. I know BHP and Plan II are the premier UT majors; but with a full tuition scholarship offerred from Vanderbilt, what to do.

Interests are buisness/engineering, and if not admitted to BHP, would have gone undergrad engineering and then MBA. With BHP and PlanII, thoughts are to skip the undergrad engineering and go right to the business degree.

Without the scholarship, the answer would be easy; how does one turn down a scholarship to a top 20 university to attend their "state" school. Thanks for the advice.

Go to UT. Vanderbilt is way overrated IMO. Buisness @ UT is excellent and I think the atmosphere & social life would be more enjoyable @ UT. Good luck with your decision!

Both are 2 great schools with very different environments(in terms of student/faculty ratio and overall student population)

If you would like to see a new student daily go to UT, if you prefer a smaller place then Vanderbilt may be for you.

just go visit both schools and see which one you like better, full tuition is hard to pass up though

as far as social-life and this goes for any school
your college experience is what you make it
