<p>Has anyone taken the UT Austin campus tour? Do they do much more than just walk around the campus pointing out the various buildings?</p>
<p>I am referring to the 'walking' tour, not the freshman info session.</p>
<p>I took the tour last July, and, yes, the tour guide does take you around and point out many of the buildings, while throwing out strange historical facts and trivia. However, the tour guide also provided useful information on subjects not found on UT's website such as about the limited parking. He also shared some of his own experiences about the campus which can be helpful, as well.</p>
