<p>Is the cap program at ut offered to all texas residents that applied to austin but were declined?</p>
<p>im curious because im not top 8% at my high school and im wondering if i will get capped or not because i know im not going to get automatic admission regardless.</p>

<p>No it isn’t, it is offered to those that had a pretty good chance of getting in in the first place but were not in the top whatever of their class.</p>
