UT Cap v Baylor

Hi! Should I go UT cap or Baylor? I have been accepted into Baylor biochemistry pre-Pharm track, and I applied to UT, but got CAP. Baylor gave me 56,000 in scholarship money. My goal is to go into pharmacy school. Price wise, my family and I aren’t crazy about paying Baylors price but we are fine with it so money isn’t really a problem. Big school v small school, I am an extremely adaptable person and am fine wherever I am and I like both, since I’ve had both experiences in high school. I love Austin and although I don’t like Waco, I like Baylors campus. I guess what I am asking here is which is a better choice, to go to Baylor or go through the UT cap? With Ut cap I would probably go to UTSA but then I would get guareteed transfer with a certain Gpa but I’m pretty sure it’s as undecided, so if I wanted the college of natural sciences I would probably have To apply, so I wouldnt be guareteed into the college of sciences biochem major pre Pharm track .Which is the better option?

Is 56k over 4 years at Baylor? What does it cost per year?

Is UTSA the only school you can go to with the CAP? Have you applied anywhere else?

Yes I believe I get 7000 per semester. The cost per year is 55,000, so they are giving me a free year. No, for cap I have all of the other Ut schools available to me but I live in Austin and the only one I’m interested in is UTSA Bc it’s the closest. I have also applied to SMU duke ucal and Stanford. I got into a&m but I don’t really like a&m and I would have to move to a different a&m location my sophomore year for the pre pharm track anyways and I’m not interested in that!

Also, is there any way to ask them to put me on the wait list for either Ut? Or request for a wait list to the PACE? I really don’t want another UT location other than Austin.

No you have to be offered pace. It’s up to you. Are you smart? If you’re smart go to UTsA and transfer to the college of natural science. If you’re not that smart, go to Baylor. Only go to Baylor if you have to money.

If you want to transfer, make new friends, adapt to a huge college during sophmore year then go with UT. If you want uninterrupted four year experience at a small school then go with Baylor.
