@miaage I’m OOS, applied to CS in October and still haven’t heard back. Do you know of any other OOS CS applicants who have been accepted?

Has anyone received admission into the college of natural sciences from OOS?

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Please post your stats:
Class Rank
GPA
SAT Scores (Math, CR, Writing)

Accepted
Applied: November
Out of state
Major: Biomedical engineering
GPA: 4.49 W / 4.01 UW
SAT: 2190 (800 M, 690 CR, 700 W)

4.01 UW? That makes me so mad. It should be 100% impossible to get over a 4.0 unweighted.

Maybe it’s a typo!! 4.01 Unweighted??

Applied Dec 1st to Fine Arts Studio, accepted Saturday! Non-auto by far

anybody international admitted yet?

I am international and still waiting too!!

accepted to mccombs!!
applied 11/21. OOS from NY.
94.88 weighted avg
ACT 32 (35 english, 34 math, 30 reading & science)

ahhh sucks to be international
Just wondering, my application status changed from “complete” to “Attention: We are now reviewing your application” how long does the reviewing period last?

OOS Massachusetts, applied end of October, still waiting on a decision.

First Choice: McComb’s
Second Choice: Undergraduate Studies

Hoping to hear within the next week! I’m going insane.

So I know it’s a bit harder for OOS students to get accepted. That said, I think most OOS students who apply apply to the more prestegious schools at UT. My top choice was McComb’s which I know is incredibly competitive, do you think it will help my admission chances that my second choice is UGS?

My son heard on 1/29. He applied 9/21. We are out of state and he got into his first choice- Advertising! He had good stats but much lower than what I’m reading here. I hope he won’t be in over his head!

I also applied for advertising! Congratulations for him, hopefully i can join him. I applied on December first but i’m international and sadly my application status is still “in review” and is killing me with anxiety.

I’m OOS, not bad stats but not as good here and applied to R-T-F and Government. I applied mid october. I’m losing hope, since it seems many OOS kids heard back already :

I’m oos and still have not heard but I don’t think it means anything. I know people from oos who heard back last year right before march 1
