What would you have done differently?: LEARN ABOUT COLLEGE ADMISSIONS EARLIER, option means mandatory

The admission statistics for UT online is highly misinterpreted? I have already decided that 1)I will pursue an engineering degree at another school if I do not get into UT or 2) enroll in UT’s CAP program and transfer in my sophomore year.

Do we have to apply to a UT school(not Austin) in order to be eligible for CAP?

For current students/alumni/the knowledgeable, how do my chances look?

I can’t say much about your chances but do let us know if you get accepted or not. I’m curious to know your admission decision.

Second choice of major? Econ perhaps?

Yes, my second major is econ.

I feel like more likely than not you’ll get CAPed. But hopefully you do get accepted!

You have a chance for McCombs. Econ is a good second choice major - If you do not get Business, you should get Econ in the School of Liberal Arts. Use your AP credits for Calculus and others of course, but especially Calculus!

Bye to the thread for now. When results come out I will post and share thoughts.

@res.construct Here’s to hoping that you get into McCombs :)>-

did you get in???
