<p>So I am a senior currently and am also an International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate and I wrote my extended essay in Spanish (native language is English), I am white, I have a 3.8 weighted GPA, I'm in the top 23% of my class, and I have a ton of extracurricular activities, including Amigos de las Americas, captain of my debate team, about 5 sports teams, and about 10 other school/ outside clubs. What are my chances of getting into UT at Austin since it is now top 8%? I have heard that they actually realize the difference between IB and AP, so that's slightly comforting because IB is wayyy harder.. but I am still nervous, oh and I am a resident of Texas. I'm applying to the Social Work and Communications schools there. And also should I use the third admission essay as a please let me in this is all I have ever wanted??</p>
