UT in the future?

Again, link to substantive information, or is this another fantasy?

BTW, if you are so concerned about Tier One schools and the like, why aren’t you attending A&M? Or, was your purported acceptance off their waitlist another one of your “pipe dreams?”

So, your SAT/ACT scores weren’t quite a 610/26 that you must resort to attending remedial math classes in the summer? It seems Tech is the right choice for you.

The Tech CC board seemed quite desolate when I glanced at it. Why not post there instead of here to swell the throngs? They seem to need the activity.

Pierre…why dont you move on over to the Blynn Team board…K, thanks…

As far as Tech admissions…the minimum requirements that they “say” one needs to get in are VERY loose…My D has several classmates that are going there that are less than ideal students. A couple of them got 17’s on thier ACT’s and a few of them were denied at Texas State.

My D chose Texas for many reasons, including the school spirit. Her number one reason for choosing UT is for the academic reputation that it has in the state of Texas. In fact, UT is still considerd one of the top “Public Ivies”. Football is just the icing on the cake :)

no lol the acuplacr at EC is easier than the math placement exam, although i did get an 85 on the one for college algebra

yea i saw that article on wikipedia, i didnt realize they actually considered schools public ivies

apparently A&M made a mistake, i was only accepted to Blinn Team :(

Sure, they made a “mistake.” Even though it is aggy we are talking about, I would imagine the “mistake” lies with you and not with A&M’s admission department.

The Tech board is calling your name!! Guns Up!!

clarification, i saw step 6 and assumed i was in. Checked about 2 weeks ago and realized it said Blinn Team - General Studies.

I’ll be at Texas next year anyway  Hook 'EM

btw how do you do that wink?

; + ) = ;)
