I applied to McCombs in late September, and BHP early October before the early deadline and have already received my interview which went well. BHP is extremely competitive to be admitted to, and would appreciate some feedback on where you think I stand.

SAT: 1430/2080
ACT: 32
PSAT: 208 Commended, National Hispanic
Rank: 65/705 (extremely competitive high school)
GPA: 105.9 weighted, 98.4 unweighted

ECs: Captain of Debate team, 3 year varsity debater, school mascot, VP of Junior Statemens of America (JSA), NHS member, student mentor at Tae Kwon Do, four years of AP Art, also strong work experience over the last four years.

Not sure if race factors into BHP (I know it can effect general admission at UT), but I am Hispanic. I also was one of fifty students out of 500 applicants selected to attended a weeklong business camp at McCombs, where I met a lot of the admissions people. I felt my essays were pretty good, which hopefully will help my below average rank and test scores in terms of BHP admission standards.

I would greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts on my chances, and if you're also applying to BHP, I'd love to hear your stats! Thanks and hook'em!
