UT McCombs BHP External Transfer

(Posted this in general section, but maybe I might actually get a response in here... pardon my copy and paste)

Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it even feasible? I will be going to UTSA next year as a student in the CAP program.. but lo and behold, the CAP program doesn't apply to McCombs. I know I'm going to need an insanely high GPA and some required courses (I'll be taking Calculus 1 over the summer so I will be able to fulfill the 2 Calculus credit requirements)

So yeah, any one ever heard of this happening or think it is possible? I am very motivated... at the moment. lol

Of course it’s possible. Get a perfect GPA and hold a substantial leadership position, then you might have a chance.

Hey can someone clear this up for me - what exactly is a 4.0 in college the same as high school? A 100 average?

no, all A’s. so if the cutoff for As in your classes are 90’s (which most are at UTSA), then as long as you make at least a 90 in each of your classes you get a 4.0.

For some classes here at UT with the +/- system…
93+ = 4.0
90-92.9 = 3.66
And the grade cutoffs will vary from by class and professor
