I really need help. After being accepted into McCombs I was set on attending UT. After receiving final financial aid and scholarships for both schools I'm not so sure anymore. After hearing back, I learned that UT would cost me $23K a year vs. $7K a year at A&M. The problem is that I applied for engineering at A&M so I would have to do economics or agribusiness for a year before I could do an internal transfer since the business school is full. I'm planning on getting an MBA so I figured I could just go to A&M and then get my masters elsewhere and save a substantial amount of money. The networking around Austin and McCombs is so large though so this is a really tough decision to make so I'm in dire need of advice. Should I spend more to attend McCombs or go through an internal transfer at A&M after a year to save money? I know that Austin is a significantly more lively city, which I'm definitely into, but I'm just concerned about costs and the prospects of being able to get a good job coming out of college.

Will you have to take out loans to attend McCombs?
