UT Students: Get your AP Scores Free!

Hey guys, don't be a fool like me and get suckered into giving college board another $8 of your hard earned money. If you're a UT new student you can look up your AP grades via UT Direct. Here's the link:

https://utdirect.utexas.edu/diia/cbe/petition/index.WBX

WARNING: Don't click claim/petition for credit until you've gone to orientation and met with an advisor. It costs you money and you don't need to claim everything now. Also, if you must post your scores, do so in the AP section of the forum.

aww nooo i read this too late!!! I paided the $8!!!
haha Thanks for the link I will share it with my other UT friends

Yeah, I paid too. Oh well, at least I can save my friends money. Thank you.

It should take a week or 2 still..

is there any way i can get ut id thing.. i'm applying for ut nxt yr.. i'm only a junior

found the same thing you did 2 days late, oh well ive been able to save a few of my friends the eight bucks

To Business: you can get a UT EID now I think but it won't do you any good as far as getting your AP scores. They're only there if you designated UT to receive your scores, and I doubt they would be up for anyone who hasn't been admitted or paid enrollment.

i asked them to send the scores to ut, but haven't been admitted yet cuz i'm only a junior.. i'll go check to see if they have them

wow this is great! thanks :)

I only see the SAT and ACT scores. Could they just not be up yet for everyone?

bump (10 char)

bump as the time is fast approaching...

The scores are now available by phone from CollegeBoard. Not sure how long til they show up on "Claim Your Credit" at utexas.edu

the date from my last years score for when they were received was june 28th so they should be going up there in a day or on monday.

For posterity:
In 2008, scores became available by phone mid afternoon on Friday, June 27, and were posted on UT Direct mid-day on Tuesday, July 1.

awesome!!! thanks!!

I’m a high school sophomore (beginning 11th grade now) and I took an AP exam and had the score sent to UT. I called up the UT EID system people, but they didn’t have an EID for me.

They referred me to this phone number: (512) 232-2662, which is the phone number of the DIIA student testing services ([Frequently Asked Questions](http://www.utexas.edu/academic/mec/cbe/faq.html))

Do you think they’ll have my score?

yeah…my scores are up…

Don’t you have to still have them sent to UT? I guess for transfers you have to send them regardless but it sucks you have to pay to claim credit, does UT not have any money or what, they charge for almost everything!

I don’t see any scores related to AP…
