UT transfer application question! THANKS!

Ok, i'm applying for fall '10 to UT-Austin as a transfer from a community college in texas :). I was working on my application (just came out today!!!) and on the EC/honors/experience section, it has labled to the side "freshmen, sophomore, etc" and I'm wondering if those are for high school or college? If it's for high school, where do I put college activities? And vise versa. THANKS!!!

I’ll be applying for transfer Fall '10 as well (from a community college near Houston), but I won’t have thirty credits until the end of this fall semester. At the end of Spring, I’ll have exactly fifty if everything works out right. I can’t wait…

A year… :(

MIT2014 >> I was also applying as a transfer last year and filled out the activities that I did during high school anyways. That stuff is for if you are applying for scholarship because when I got to the end of the application, I remember it said something like only incoming freshman are eligible for the scholarship and that data is used to determine your eligibility for scholarship. Just fill it out anyways, won’t hurt. What I also did was sent them a two page resume (the format was amazing …I could pm you if you contact me later). The resume listed all the activities I did, how many hrs/week/month etc, and the school year. In there, I included everything I did during my first year of college and all the high school stuff since most of what I did was during high school.

I also have a question about the transfer application.

It says, “Please indicate your family’s gross income for the most recent tax year. Include both untaxed and taxed income.”

Does this mean from the most recent completed year (like 2008) or current year (2009 income)? What is this information going to determine, will it affect financial aid packages?

Because in 2008, I would be in the “more than $80,000” range and right now I’m in the “less than $20,000” range.

Also, does “family’s gross income” include workers compensation because my dad was laid-off.

Please help because I have to fill this out within the next 2 days!

Those are for college only if you want to tell them about your high school activities the way to do that is to send in a resume in addition to your application.

I am looking into transferring to ut austin in fall '10 also and have also started my application (on the first day it was avaliable). I read somewhere that you should put all the activities you have been involved in during the last 4 years. However, I know that ut has made it a requirement for all transfer applicants to send in a resume, so that should cover all categories
