UT Transfer Spring 2011 - Please Chance me!

<p>I'm a sophomore for the year 2010-2011 and I was planning on applying for a transfer to both TAMU and UT - Austin. </p>

<p>My current GPA is a 3.0 because my first and second semester of freshman year I got C+s in a French 1 and 2 class that is 5 hours not three.</p>

<p>Everything else is good A's and some B's. I'm heavily involved on my campus with EC. and I was planning on transferring into COLA for English</p>

<p>I’m not familiar with your schools, but most schools have a minimum 2.0 in each class that they will accept for transfer credit. So if you have lower than 2.0 in any of your classes, they probably won’t transfer. <em>Most</em> colleges that I have seen (atleast where I live) require a 2.5-3.0 GPA to be accepted as a transfer student. So all your stats seem to add up well, good luck!</p>

<p>I’m applying also as a transfer for Spring 2011 with a 3.5 into either COLA or Natural Science have you gotten in?</p>

<p>The counselor said a 3.0 or so is about the average GPA for most transfers into COLA so I’m sure you’ll get in</p>
