I am currently a sophomore at the University of North Texas with a GPA of 3.4. I applied as a transfer student to the Visual Arts school in the University of Texas at Austin. I have a transcript with at least 2 art classes taken each semester and my SAT I (which was taken almost 4 years ago) was an 1100. Might I have a chance or not? Has anyone else transferred to this school?

You have a chance; not necessarily a great one, but not a bad one either. I guess your portfolio could be the deciding factor, assuming you had to send one in.

From what I know, UT in general goes by GPA, so the higher it is, the better your chances are.

Best of luck :)
