UT vs. UTD vs. UTA vs. UTSA for Engineering?

I know UT is the best, but I included it for the sake of making this topic relevant. There aren't any boards for the other schools. So out of those, which one is probably the best for engineering? (whatever best means to you... most rigorous, most recognized)

i think ut-austin is the best in engineering

That is my opinion......but it also depends on which engineering u are talking about

my opinion

UT > UTD > UTA > UTSA

definitely UTD or UT

UT > UTA > UTSA > UTD

UTD only offers electrical and software engineering. UTSA's program isn't too thick either (electrical, mechanical, computer, civil). UTD is probably the best overrall branch campus to attend, but it's engineering program is lousy. UT is obviously the best hands down.

I thought UTD was WELL known for engineering?

Maybe it's well known for it's electrical and software engineering. But IMO when you are choosing which school to go to and you want to apply to the engineering department, you should look for a school that has a good amount of options for engineering majors. Most people will change majors around 3 times and if you want to be an engineer but just change the type of work you are doing, then it'll come in handy if the school offers more than a few engineering majors. This is, unless you outright know what you want to do.

I took a class at UTSA this summer in the college of engineering and they tried brainwash to stay for our entire undergrad study but something i learned was that UTSA was the fastest growing engineering school in the nation (disclaimer: im not an engineering major)
