Ut waitlist

<p>Apparently i have been put on the UT WAITLIST for fall 2011, does anyone know whats the chance of getting in? and on the website it says that if are admitted from the wait list we have to pay the deposit. how much is the deposit? does that mean we have to pay for the tuition if we are not going there?</p>

<p>also, i already paid the deposit for a&m college station (student new conference) since its due date is may 1, 2011 but ut will announce the wait list by may 15,2011 so my parents just wanted me to make sure at least i have one school to go to.</p>

<p>and btw, if we accept the admission from other school does that mean we HAVE TO go? or we HAVE TO pay the deposit? thank you :)</p>

<p>My daughter is in the same situation. She was admitted to A&M and is on the waitlist for UT Austin which is really where she wants to go. She was also offered the CAP program at UT Austin. She accepted to be on the wait list but is undecided about whether to accept the CAP agreement. The deadline for accepting the CAP is April 30th. She’s torn between accepting to go to A&M or accepting to go to any one of the UT colleges offered under the CAP. Does anybody have some advice on this?</p>
