I also have just some generic education and sports and music awards, and some local scholarship titles.

Do I stand a chance for full tuition?

Thanks guys :)

yea of course you do!

You will get a full scholarship most likely.

Just wondering, why do you want to go to UT Dallas? You have great stats and could get into many universities with better reputations. Not saying UTD is bad at all, I’m just curious.

looks like she’s looking into engineering, so maybe thats why?

if you can get your rec letters in time, i would even think about trying for the mcdermott scholarship. jan 6 deadline. [The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program](The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program - The University of Texas at Dallas)

Yes, looking into engineering. Thanks for your feedback, guys!

I also applied to University of Illinois, WUSL, Hartwick, W&L, University of Washington, CO School of Mines, and Whitman. UTD has been bombarding me with mail, and my dad encouraged me to apply simply because of the scholarship opportunity.

And unfortunately, I am unsure of whether I could get my letters of rec in on time. That looks like a great scholarship, though…maybe I should try!
