I am trying to choose the best part time Masters of Accounting program out there. Reason being my company will pay for my degree (but I have to work full time). A little about me… I graduated from the univ. of kansas with a bachelor’s in accounting. I’ve been with my current company for approximately 1.5 years. The first year I spent getting state & local tax experience. For the last six months, I’ve been in the financial reporting group (specifically dealing with derivatives). I am trying to choose between UT Dallas and Auburn (I’m admitted to both programs), since they seem to have stellar online programs available. My end goal is to eventually transition to a big four firm in either their NYC or Chicago office - which program do you think would give me the better opportunity of achieving this goal? Is there another part time/online program that you think would be better?
