UTEP CAP/ CAP in general

I got accepted into CAP at UTEP and was wondering if anyone else chose this as their school as well as some questions like.
*Has anyone been to UTEP CAP, how was it? Also what is a College hour, it says i need at least 30 hrs.
*It says i need a course above college algebra and i suck at math so whats the best option for me
p.s what are the best and possibly the easiest courses that satisfy the minimum reqs of the cap agreement
p.s.s Anyone become a Physician Assistant from this route or from UT

Yeah i’m in the same boat as you with UT offering me to CAP at UTEP. Also 30 hours is the amount of classes, one class is 3 hours I assume so that’s 5 classes a semester you would need to take to fulfill for your automatic admission the only class UT requires a CAP student to pass I believe is any math class above algebra so calculus with a C- or higher. Generally people take basics and some classes pertaining to a major they want to transfer into that’s not in the college of liberal arts.

Alright cool, just one more question did you accept the cap agreement cause i dont even know where it is or how to accept it

No not yet, I believe you have to wait until a certain date before you can agree. I haven’t agreed myself yet as i’m exploring other options as well.

Might be going to UTEP also, not trying to be a PA but kind of going the same route of Physical Therapist.
Any of yall hear about a math placement exam, didn’t know about it until recently. How hard is it if I just want to take the easiest math class above college algebra? :-/ ;

Oh I forgot do you have to take a language class if you already took Spanish 1-2 in high school, although i got a B and a D? sowwie :stuck_out_tongue:

If im flying from Hou to El paso for orientation jun 12-15 and i get there a day early would i be able to stay on campus?
