hey, im applying to UT. im from california and ive heard how difficult it is to be admitted if your out of state. i heard that if your SATs are outstanding and your at the top of your class, you have a good chance. i have a 3.7 at a top ten public school in ca, my school doesnt rank, 1270 SAT, good ECs, good recs…do i have a chance or am i wasting my time and money??? please let me know guys, thanks!!
<p>I'm doing my UT application at the moment and i'm from Texas. The school is extremely competative, and it guarantees admittance to anyone who graduates in the top 10% at their high school class. Although a lot of spaces will automatically get taken by these people, the incoming class is huge. Your stats are pretty good, you might want to try and raise the SAT score, but I would still apply if I was you, you do stand a chance.</p>
