UToledo Bioengineering BS/MD Program

in about a week or two, i need interview help! haha

hey, if anyone else has interview advice. PLEASE SHARE!I have it next Thursday

Rejection letter in mail today but whatever

hey, dont feel bad i m in same boat.what r ur stats?i didnt apply there though.

Well, since I got interviews from other places I doubt it was because of my stats. I think its b/c UToledo was a last minute thing for me and I'm from NY so that was probably why.

oh i see.well than i dont feel so bad atleast u have something going

how many people get interviews and how many are accepted?anyone know?

Last year they accepted 10. ACT 33, gpa 4.0uw was enough.

^No, they accepted 7 students into bioengineering and 4 into A&S. This number was published by UTNews (a newsletter on campus...the article is no longer online). I also know the yield numbers and they ain't pretty.

http://bioe.eng.utoledo.edu/undergraduate/premed_compare.htm

Is it b/c not everybody who is accepted choose it? It says 10 to eng. and 5 to bac/md max. During Eng. open house, they indicated that they will accept 10.

hoe many interviewed?

sorry how many.

Do not know how many interviewed. Everybody should just take it easy, calm down and try not to be intimidated by anybody. STAY AWAY FROM ANY NEGATIVE OPINIONs. It really does not matter how many interviewed if you believe in yourself and just trust that you'll do well. It might sound cheesy, but this is the best that you can do for yourself right now. There is nothing else you can control at this point except for setting yourself in a right mood. Good luck!

i really wish i get in there

^And let's believe that you will.

Notice how they say MAXIMUM. They don't promise to accept that many people. They did not accept the maximum for either program. At open house they hadn't even offered interviews, so they had no idea how many people would be deemed acceptable. And as for some people not accepting, not everyone did because, like I said, the yield numbers are laughable.

what do you mean by yield numbers?

whoever took interviews today, how did it go?

did u not go today?

mine is next week
