The USNews 2012 Graduate Rankings were released. Needless to say, most of UT's programs fared pretty well. Most of these didn't change from last year, but I thought I'd share the main ones...

ENGINEERING:
Cockrell remains the 8th best engineering program in the nation. The CS program also stayed in 8th place.

BUSINESS:
McCombs' ranking also remains unchanged at the 17th best business school in the US. Of course, UT's accounting program remains THE best.

SCIENCES:
Chemistry, physics, earth sciences and math all came in within the top 15. Biological sciences came in at a mere 26th.

LAW:
This is very unfortunate! UCLA actually jumped over UT this year. UT Law came in at 16th. Last year UT was 14th, tied with Georgetown.

LIBERAL ARTS:
Economics and political science ranked in the top 25. English, history, psychology and sociology all ranked in the top 20.
