UT's financial aid for OOS students

UT Austin's tutition, fees, transportation, expenses, room and board and all combined price is Ridiculously expensive for Out of State Students. I am going to apply to UT Austin next year, and I am pretty sure that when I apply to FAFSA, my EFC is going to be zero, so lets say then need $40,000 my first year in financial aid. How will UT Austin divide that money up?
Is it like a certain percent of money is from grant, and rest of the % of that money are loans, or something?
If also possible, can you estimate how much loan I might need to borrow just my first year if I have a EFC of zero and I need $40,000 of financial aid, considering I get an scholarship of $8000?
