UT's Pharmacy school???

I've already asked a question like this before, but I'm still really confused as to how the pharmacy program at UT works. I've been told by most people that UT doesn't have one of those 6-year pharmacy courses, but I recently read somewhere that it offers an "early admission program". Does anyone know what that is? And if there are any current UT pharmacy students out there, I have some other questions that I need answered too. Thanks

And also, which honors program does a pre-pharmacy student apply to? Dean’s Scholars? Or is there a separate honors program for pre-pharmacy students since they only need 2 yrs of undergrad studies?

The PharmD program at UT is a 6 year program. Two years of prepharmacy and then 4 more years after you are admitted to the College of Pharmacy. Here’s a link to the suggested courses for the first two years of prepharmacy. I would imagine most students are in the College of Natural Sciences but I suppose you could also do your prepharmacy in the College of Liberal Arts.

Ah! I love the pharmacy building for some reason. It’s a very prestigious college of UT. Good luck - I hope you get in! I see pharmacy students working as interns at the pharmacy in the SSB. It’s cool to me. :)
