UTSA CAP or UTD for CE?

<p>Like many others, I applied to UT Austin and was Cap'd.</p>

<p>Now I have the choice of going to UT Dallas (Not CAP) or UTSA (CAP)</p>

<p>I'm majoring in Computer Engineering and I really would like to go to UT Austin.</p>

<p>The main concern I have with UTSA is the possibility that I might not get into the Engineering school when I transfer to UT Austin.</p>

<p>Any opinions? I don't really know what my best option would be..</p>

<p>I got a 1730 on the SAT (610 math) and a 28 on the ACT. I believe the only thing keeping me from getting into UT Austin was my class rank (horrible, I slacked off my fresh/soph year)</p>

<p>Your SAT scores are pretty low (Especially the math score). If you got admitted into UTD for CE then I’d go there.</p>

<p>I’d take UTD. If you can’t handle what UTD’s CE program has to offer, then you probably shouldn’t be doing engineering at UT.</p>
