UTSA University Oaks- Did I just sign a contract to live in hell??

<p>Hi!</p>

<p>I just completed on the UTSA housing site, my application for housing. I chose University Oaks (planning on 4 bedroom) because my mother told me to choose the cheapest one(cannot afford even the $590). BUT- both her and my father (ESPECIALLY MY FATHER) are against me living off-campus in an apartment. </p>

<p>Is University Oaks ALL that bad? I will be a freshman and will hopefully be doing their new F.A.M.E. program which allows me to do 3 years for my undergrad and then go into med school. I chose University Oaks because it is the cheapest apartment when choosing the for bedroom. Or should I show all the bad rating to my parents, and the expensive prices for the other dorms, and BEG to live off-camps?</p>

<p>Actually the cheapest is Chisholm Hall, I’m an incoming freshman as well and by looking at the pictures University Oaks looks like the best one out of the four. If you don’t mind, how much are you going to pay for your room? I’m still undecided on where to stay, for sure I’m going to stay on campus because all the utilities are paid for, but I just don’t know which dorm to stay in.</p>
