YALL HELP ME FR, I HAVE UNTIL TOMORROW MORNING TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION TO LET MY PARENTS KNOW WHICH I’LL BE ATTENDING. I PLAN PRE-MED GEOLOGY OR PSYCHOLOGY, I LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO BUT TECH SOUNDS SO GOOD.

I like UTSA but no way would I pick it over Tech. The fact that you live in San Antonio would make the decision even easier for me.
Only thing is I heard academics are kind of iffy at Tech, where at UTSA it’s relatively easy to keep your GPA 3.5+ which is my ultimate goal going down the Pre-Med path… where as a 3.4 at Tech vs a 3.7 at UTSA with the same MCAT score admissions would usually pick the UTSA applicant.
Location is also a big issue, I love all Tech has to offer, but in San Antonio we have hospitals literally everywhere and the opportunity to volunteer, shadow and get connections is a huge difference whereas Lubbock is somewhat secluded from the rest of Texas but I’m sure the opportunities are endless as well, granted you get into the right fields and meet the people you need to.
