We talked about this a LOT last year and I remember Dean J was thoroughly sick of answering questions about likely letters. I got one around late Feb/early March. </p>

<p>I got a likely letter almost three weeks ago in the mail,
and I got an email this week to be an Echols scholar!</p>

<p>UVA is my back-up, so if I don’t get in anywhere else I guess I’ll go :)</p>

<p>We don’t know yet…I’m hoping sooner rather than later</p>

<p>I got a letter about 2 days ago saying that admissions decisions are going to be posted on the UVA status page at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st.</p>

<p>Well, whatever letter you got probably has incorrect information, as Dean J has repeatedly stated that decisions will go up at 5:00, not 5:30. That and I’m just really hoping that I don’t have to wait for the first (not that that matters much)!!</p>
