Hello!
I previously was a full time student athlete at Lincoln Memorial University (TN). I am now at JTCC for the semester using this fall semester to figure out where I will be transferring to and what is best for me as a student as well as an athlete. I’m nervous too, you are only 1 of 2 people i’ve seen that are also trying to transfer for the spring. I’m very confused, did many not apply this year?
I’m fairly confident the EARLIEST we will get a decision is the night before December 1st.
Hi transfer students. When you get in for the spring semester you will need a place to live. Please consider subletting from my daughter. She is going to study abroad in the spring. She lives in a two bedroom 2 bath apartment in Wertland Square which is in the hottest spot next to the corner where there are bars and restaurants. It is fully furnished and luxury living with access to pool. Parking spot is included. Free wifi. Please email me at luvlax@aol.com or respond to this if you are interested.
Is there a way to find out how many applications UVA got for Spring transfer this year? Just wondering. Also, they say 35 seats or so available…I wonder if that is split 2/3 from Virginia like regular admissions…and if there is a % for Va Community College xfer (hopefully…)
I know spring acceptance rate is 15%. Even though it seems like they have a preference with community college and in-state, but spring doesn’t have any guarantee admission, I would assume it is just based on the pool.
Hey everyone! I just accepted my offer for Spring 17. Where is everyone else from? I left the Air Force Academy a few months ago as a sophomore, and doing CC at NOVA right now.
Hello Fellow Transfer Hoo’s!!!
Congratulations on your transition into the university! As a 2016 transfer myself, I know how finding housing can be a stressful and unknown territory. My friends and I are looking for one more roommate (girl or boy) to live with in a Wertland 1029 apartment. It is extremely close to central grounds and the corner and a prime spot for fun extracurricular activities.

I realize the thread is old, but I just can’t help wondering. What were the GPA’s of all accepted transfer students? According to statistics, about 40-50 students get in the spring out of 250-300 prospective applicants. The average GPA for the spring also is a little above 3.8 making it very competitive.
