@TheWaffleMan149 I didn’t know you applied for UVA! Yeah, the wait is ridiculously long. I keep thinking that I’ve heard back from all my EA/ED schools until I remember UVA.

Also I miss the Penn thread like crazy.

@emilyskates As do I. I am trying to get the RD thread going, but everyone else has a life :confused:

@TheWaffleMan149 Yeah, all of the RD threads have been pretty dead. What other schools did you apply to? I applied to Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, WUSTL, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, USC, BU, NYU, and Wellesley (the irony).

I had waffles this morning and they were glorious.

Has anyone noticed that when they click the “View Decision” link, the page tab says “Accept Admission”? I’m assuming it is just another quirk in SIS and doesn’t mean anything.

@HRSMom If you’re replying to me, I still get the “your decision will be available on Jan. 31st” message that everyone gets, but the page tab at the top says “Accept Admission”

Hey guys!! Does anyone know when UVA tells you whether you’ve gotten Echols and/or that other Research Scholars thing? :0

@agirlinasweater, notifications for the scholars programs are separate, but are sent around the time that we post admission decisions.

@renegade23, there’s nothing to this. We aren’t done yet, so there are no final decisions to load into SIS.

Does anyone know if UVA actually sends out formal acceptance letters or is it that the university just shows your decision online?
