at UVa for an instate student in the top 2% of their class, would a 1250 sat score be enough to keep him or her out? I know a 1250 usually dubs one stupid by CC standards, but for a state school, would that be the deciding factor? IF an in-stae applicant can present a supurb application in all other reguards, would uva still be considered a massive reach? Thanks for any responses

it depends on her GPa and Ec's and other stuff like race and all that god stuff

4.25, most difficult course load, good scores on AP tests, varsity sport for 4 years (captain), yearbook editor, model Un president, a few awards for poetry and essays, helped initiate schools homecoming dance, a bunch of community service and school involvement and all that jazz. basically the only problem would be test scores. (which break down to 680 v and 570 m.)

yea i think she'll get in

I agree. Low scores should not keep her out -- if they do, I'm in deep trouble myself.

But seriously, they would be crazy not to take her (and me too). LOL

haha thanks for the feedback guys.

instate- in
oos-out

see what i did there?

yep, fortunately i think we're all talking instate. Out of state would be a totally different story for me. l0l
