UVA and UNC chances?

<p>I am a freshman looking to transfer out of my current school (College of Charleston). My gpa at the conclusion of the first semester should be between 3.8-3.94. I am taking 15 credits this semester and 15 next semester. Extra-curriculars aren't great at this point but I hope to improve on that this spring. My high school gpa was a 3.8 unweighted with a 1370/2060 on the SAT. Any idea what my chances might be at UNC and UVA? </p>

<p>I'm currently at UNC and I would say you have a great shot here, and still a shot at UVA too.</p>

<p>I transferred to unc with a 3.5 GPA, solid extra curriculars, a legacy (my dad is a tarheel) and the geographic diversity of being from Seattle. Hope that says anything,</p>
