<p>Do any of you guys ever wonder what it looks like to heva these kind of threads to people checking out colleges on CC? I wonder if it makes a good or bad impression. i remember when I was checking out colleges and I would regularly post in all the boards I was looking at. I wasn't as active then, but no other board had a community like the UVa one had. Tight knit and active. Then again, I cant help but worry that the forum has become a little too social for us on the "in" and may be alienating those that are checking out the forum for the sake of checking out colleges, or those that dont post here as often. So this post goes out to you guys. If you go to uva but dont post that often and still look at this thread, come join our group. If your just checking out schools, take everything we say in these kinds of threads with a grain of salt.</p>

<p>They should get used to awkward social settings. That's the story line of college. Awkward moments. And if you don't remember them, someone else will for you. And frankly, I think being on a forum like this one that we talk more than just about school sheds a good light on UVA.
PS- check out the college life forum. There's an awesome thread about some whack that doesn't want their roommate to even breathe near them. Quite awesome.</p>
