UVA Chances for Me

I am a white male from NC and thinking of whether or not I might have a chance at UVA.

I also realize the OOS tuition is high and wonder what advice anyone has to offer in that regard for an OOS student.

Last, any advice for those of us with ADHD??

other info-
I am very passionate about natural sciences.
I also have ADHD which is apparent from my GPA versus my test scores.

are you classified in your school as ADHD? if you can document that, it may help you. all your standardized tests should have been untimed.your AP scores are awesome! your other scores (SATs, ACTs) and grades are kind of low for OOS(you know how difficult that is) but your learning disability may change all that. also, see if UVA, like some schools has a program in place for those with special needs. do you know? you have a strong courseload, however, and UVA looks first at rigor of classes. impressive especially with ADHD. do you know what your GPA is weighted?

My school is private, so they don't officially "classify" me as ADHD, although I have been diagnosed with ADHD and dysgraphia. I have that documented from 7th grade and just found out that I need to get a reassessment if I want to be considered for learning disability services in college or for LD scholarships.

I don't know if UVA has LD services, but will check. Most of the NC universities have them.

I don't know my weighted GPA, but I can tell you that I got B's in all of my AP courses so far.

I'm also looking at UNC-CH as a reach, due to my GPA, but feel confident about UNC-W, NC State, UNC-A and App State.

Please chance me for UVA.

UVA is a very high reach. It is very difficult to be accepted as an out-of-state student.
