-intended engineering major
-out of state

SAT: 2130 (710 CR 690 M 730 W)
ACT: 32

-School
GPA: 5.3 Weighted (4.0 UW)
IB program, all IB classes except for physics honors (AP/IB not offered)

-Extra
Sports: Varsity Soccer Captain, club soccer team captain, JV basketball, Lettered freshman year for cross country
Clubs: ALL honor societies
Volunteerism: Service trip to Ecuador (90 hours)
Over 150 hours total
Other: attended engineering leadership conference at Georgia Tech summer 2014
Work: Busser at local restaurant

So, do I still have a shot, or should I just move on?

I think you have a good chance! I was accepted EA for engineering with extracurriculars similar to yours and an SAT much lower than yours. Not too confident that I’ll be going there though… It really depends your fellow OOS applicants.

I’m worried my SAT math is too low as well.

I’m in-state and a fellow IB-er :stuck_out_tongue: I wouldn’t be too worried about your math score since its a bit higher than the median of last year’s class profile, but hopefully your essays and recommendations were good!
