White, female, OOS.
GPA - 3.81 (very tough courses. one C+ in 10th grade)
SAT - 2230 (800CR/780W/650M)
Dual-enrollment program at a university for all of jr and sr year.</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
College writing class outside school 9th and 10th grade
Newspaper and yearbook club all four years w/ awards
Over 800 volunteer hours between two different sources
Tennis team all four years</p>
<p>Summers:
10th grade - College language class
11th grade - Language immersion program
12th grade - Will be language tutoring</p>
<p>OOS GPA is iffy, but other than that, I say yes, you’re in. oh wait, that’s probably unweighted. So yes, in.
Leadership in yearbook/newspaper? It’s hard to imagine going all 4 years w/o any.</p>
<p>haha yeah i figured you couldn’t be on a newspaper staff all 4 years and not get something.
lol. I moved to my school after my soph. year, only contributed like twice during junior year, and now i’m editor in chief. lol XD our newspaper isn’t like…hard core or anything, but still.</p>
<p>but yeah, you should look at the stats of some of the OOS people who got in this year, I think there’s one thread with them, and then see where you fit in.</p>
