I have a 3.09 gpa right now and I'm a first semester junior in college, what are the chances of me transferring to UVA and getting in with that gpa? My SATs were good/average - 1870 - and my high school graduating gpa was a 4.3. Also, I have good extracurricular activities, I play a D1 sport at the college I'm at now, several members of my family attended UVA, and initially I was accepted to UVA right out of high school but chose to go to a different college. Do these things matter when applying for transfer? What are my chances of acceptance for spring transfer?
Thanks!

But with your numerous legacies and a possibly recruitable Division 1 sport, there’s a chance. I don’t know why you’d opt out in the first place.
Though your SATs and GPA should hurt you (SATs should be around a 2000, and GPA around a 3.8ish)
