<p>I was recently accepted to UVA as an early action applicant! I just wanted to get to know some of my possible future classmates. I am still undecided as to where I will attend school next year, but UVA at this point feels like a potential home for the next four years. So, my name is Wil H. I'm from Memphis, TN, and right now I am choosing between Georgia Tech, UVA, and Auburn.</p>

<p>For the class of 2015, there was an official facebook group set up. I assume the same will be done in the next few months for 2016. Many students used it to match up with roommates and discuss course registration, among other topics.</p>

<p>Hey all! I just posted about the Facebook page and group last night on the blog. I created them months ago (because a company seems really intent on doing it year after year) and I’ll turn the administrative reigns over to the First Year Class Council in the coming days.</p>
<p>Once your class elects officers, they’ll become the administrators of the page and group and probably decide which works best for your class.</p>
<p>If it wasn’t apparent already, I have no interest in monitoring your activity on Facebook. I feel quite strongly about the importance of student self-governance at UVa and think you should establish the rules and norms for your class Facebook page/group.</p>
