UVA common app question

On the UVA supplement I accidentally filled out the first few boxes for in-state privileges without realizing. I of course just deleted the info I typed in, but it wouldn't let me uncheck the circles I had filled in. Is there a way to undo this? Is this a big deal?

As long as you did not hit the check errors and save button you should be fine because it will not save the page you were working on. If however you did hit that button then you may want to contact the common application technical support. Here are the directions:

The ‘Help’ link on the maroon bar across to top of the screen provides you access to Frequently Asked Questions and other technical information that may be helpful while you are working on your application. Question mark icons within the application display the answer to most common question for that area of the application and provide a link to the full list of FAQs. If you still need assistance after reading the FAQs, the ‘Help’ area provides you with an online ticket request form where you may seek assistance from our technical support team. An additional ‘Help’ link is located at the bottom center of each page of the online application.

yeah I already clicked save  it was way back in summer when I didn’t really know what I was doing on common app

If you selected “no” to the very first question about in state tuition on the supplement, don’t worry about it.

The computer system is programed to put anyone who selects “yes” to that question into a queue to get reviewed for Virginia status. If you selected no, your file will bypass Virginia status review and the info on the status part of the supplement won’t be used.

I also have a question! When you log into the UVA application status website, is anyone’s application complete? Mine states incomplete because my mid-year grade report is not in, but my friend attending the same school as me said that his application is complete?

Minks7,

Are you familiar with Dean J’s blog [Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process](http://uvaapplication.blogspot.com/) ? It is the primary way she communicates information. She is here on cc, but obviously during reading season this isn’t her top priority. I would do a search on her blog first to see if she’s covered this, if not try reaching her there.

Okay thanks! That makes me feel so much better
